Sentara College of Health Sciences has an experienced team of Financial Aid Advisors to help make it easy for students to locate scholarships, receive veteran's benefits, and obtain other types of financial support. Our Bursar is a similarly experienced professional who is ready to help you make payment arrangements. And both the Financial Aid Office and Bursar's Office are supported by a number of trained Staff Assistants who are eager to help you succeed here at the College.

Mary Ann Rivera
Mary Ann is responsible for packaging financial aid and providing financial aid counseling to incoming and continuing students in the RN to BSN program.
Mary Ann began her career with Sentara 26 years ago, when she got her first job at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She graduated from Tidewater Community College with an Associate of Science in Business Administration and an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting. She has been with Sentara College of Health Sciences since 2009.
Outside of work Mary Ann enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two American Bulldogs.
Wantonia Gee
Wantonia is a Financial Aid Advisor for Sentara College of Health Sciences. She has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University and over 20 years of experience in the field of financial aid in higher education. She is passionate about helping students achieve their educational goals and dreams.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, playing board games, and watching movies.

Kylee Blizzard, Bursar
Kylee is responsible for managing our students’ accounts. She is committed to helping students meet their financial obligations, and will help by processing tuition, fees, payments, and refunds.
Kylee graduated from Strayer University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In 2012, she completed her Master’s of Science in Human Resources. She has more than 10 years of experience in financial aid and student accounts in the field of higher education.
Jamie Hissim, Assistant Bursar
Jamie brings experience in finance/accounting and has been with Sentara for over 18 years. She has held positions as a Tax Filing Clerk for the Army, Benefits Specialist at Virginia Hospital Center, Senior Accountant for Sentara Medical Group, and most recently as a Senior Finance Consultant for Sentara Health Plans.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Radford University.
