Title IX Information
Sentara College of Health Sciences is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for its students and employees.
Sentara College’s Title IX Office is responsible for receiving and responding to reports of sexual misconduct and other discrimination based on sex or gender such as sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking. The Title IX Office:
- Provides supportive measures/information about confidential resources available on and off campus for complaints and respondents
- Investigates complaints in a fair and impartial manner that avoids pre-judgement of facts at issue and conflicts of interest and bias
- Provides support for students experiencing pregnancy any/or other pregnancy related conditions
- Monitors complaints to identify any patterns or systemic problems
